P.A.C.E. Pre-Installation Checklist

Note: The Vinyl Plus collection has been discontinued. This installation guide is for reference with existing purchased product.
Subfloor Requirements
- Clean, dry, flat to 3/16" per 10-foot radius
- Wood: Securely fastened, moisture ≤ 13%
- Concrete: Fully cured (60+ days). Moisture barrier required.
Expansion Gap
Leave 1/4" around all walls and fixed objects. No acclimation required.
Floating Click-Lock Installation
Installation Steps
Step 1: Measure room. Ensure final row ≥ 1/3 plank width.
Step 2: Begin along longest wall with spacers. Cut tongue off first row.
Step 3: Connect planks by angling at 20° and pressing down.
Step 4: Stagger end joints by at least 6". Use cut pieces ≥ 8" as starters.
Step 5: Use rubber mallet and tapping block. Never strike directly.
Step 6: Rip final row. Remove spacers and install trim.
Care & Maintenance
- Sweep or vacuum regularly. Damp mop with pH-neutral vinyl cleaner.
- No steam mops or abrasive cleaners. Wipe up spills promptly.
- Use felt pads under furniture. Maintain temperature 60°F–80°F, humidity 35%–55%.
