Installation Notes
- Install by floating or glue-down method according to the linked CALI guide.
- For floating installation, acclimate unopened boxes for at least 24 hours and leave 3/8 in expansion space around walls and fixed objects.
- For glue-down installation, follow CALI’s linked installation guide for approved adhesive, trowel, subfloor, moisture and installation requirements. The guide supports Titebond 675 and a 1/16 in square-notch trowel.
- Subfloors must be clean, dry, structurally sound, and flat to 3/16 in per 10-foot radius. New concrete must be at least 60 days old.
- Radiant heat is permitted only with floating installation; glue-down installation is not compatible. Follow the system manufacturer’s requirements and never heat the floor above 85°F.
Care & Maintenance
- Dry or damp mop with Bona PRO Stone Tile & Laminate Floor Cleaner or a similar product.
- Do not use steam mops, wet mops, abrasive or harsh chemicals, or wax treatments; wipe spills promptly.
- Sweep or vacuum regularly without a beater bar, use felt furniture protectors and breathable rug underlays, and limit direct sunlight.
